What it does

  • Tap the button, play a string, and watch the needle swing between flat and sharp.
  • Auto mode works on guitar and bass, any string. Chromatic mode reads any note, which helps when you're checking intonation.
  • Pick a tuning: Standard, E♭ Standard, Drop D, DADGAD, Open D, Open G, or 4-string bass.
  • Set your reference pitch. It starts at A = 440 Hz.

It uses your mic. The tuner listens on the page itself and says your audio stays on your device.
